ABC Fun Pads began when two parents searched all the baby stores, all the discount stores and all the furniture stores trying to find a product that met their needs. They wanted something that would fit and protect their coffee table but everything they found was too thin or not fitted and just didn't seem right.
After finding nothing that met their needs they started to think that the table cover should not only protect the table, but it would also be neat if it had some sort of activity on it. Jody and Steve, founders of ABC Fun Pads, experimented with plain material that could be written on, they tried different patterns and eventually they made themselves the first ABC Fun Pad. Their table was now protected and their kids, as well as their friends' kids, were finally allowed to play around it. After creating the first ABC Fun Pad, every other mom in the family wanted one, then all of their friends, And, that is how ABC Fun Padswas born. ABC Fun Pads is a homegrown business that started in Jody and Steve's garage in sunny Southern California.
